Metal Sludge — Well, the L.A. Guns saga continues…

Steve Riley of the other L.A. Guns, has posted a social media post and statement along with some interesting attachments.

Last week Metal Sludge ran an article about Tracii Guns of L.A. Guns posted a U.S.A. Patent and Trademark Certificate dated January 5th 2021, that notes Tracii Guns as owner.

Now Riley has shot back with a post of his own.

Riley wrote on his L.A. Guns versions official Facebook: “Hey everybody, So…Tracii Guns has tried to confuse some L.A. Guns fans last week by posting a picture of a Trademark Letter and stating he now owns the name L.A. Guns outright. Tracii and I CO-OWN the name L.A. Guns and the mark (shield) and nothing has changed. The registration number on his post is the same registration number at the U.S. Trademark Office that states both of us own the name and the mark 50-50 (RILEY-GUNS). You can plainly see from the pix that we have always co-owned the name and the badge L.A. Guns.”

The band’s long-standing drummer then commented about their new single “You Can’t Walk Away” and their new release “Renegades” on Golden Robot Records.

In closing Riley added: “I hope this explains what is real and is not. Only the truth will ever come from me and the band. Thanks, Steve Riley LAG.”

Below are screen captures of the post and related documents.

Stay tuned, as the L.A. Guns vs: L.A. Guns saga continues.
