We got good news for you, as former The Runaways singer Cherie Currie has a new release and a subsequent tour of the U.K. and Scandinavia slated for the early spring.
Currie is going to be hitting the U.K. and some surrounding areas for 2 solid weeks worth of tour dates with the Munich Germany based all-female rockers Blue Ruin.

70’s icon and ex-Runaways singer, Cherie Currie has just released her latest solo project, featuring a bevy of rock’s finest on the new album, ‘Blvds of Splendor’.
The album features guest collaborations with Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins, Slash and Duff from Guns N’ Roses, as well as Juliette Lewis, Brody Dalle, The Veronicas and drummer Matt Sorum (Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver), who also produced the album.
First finding fame as the lead singer of The Runaways, Cherie Currie embarked on a solo career after the group disbanded in 1979. She has released seven studio albums to date, including collaborative records with her sister, Marie Currie, the live album, ”Midnight Music in London” in 2015, and her most recent serving, 2020’s ”Blvds Of Splendor”.
Cherie Currie is bringing the ”On The Road To Ruin” tour across the UK, Ireland, Sweden and Norway in March 2023, with Special guests, Blue Ruin, who just released their new album ”Hooligans Happy Hour“, already touring with Cherie in New Zealand in 2016.
Expect a set of solo material and Runaways classics such as ‘Cherry Bomb’ and ‘Queens Of Noise’!
