familiar with the history of what started out as the band Broken Toyz (1987), who made the trek to Los Angeles, got signed and evolved their quartet into Kingofthehill (1990).

Now nearly four decades later, Muriel has released an epic new video single titled “Those Were The Nights” from his debut solo album ‘I’m Still Standing.'”

Muriel along with those Kingofthehill bandmates; Jimmy Griffin (guitars), George Potsos (bass) and Vito Bono (drums) were part of St. Louis’ rock scene in the 1980’s into the 1990’s, and found their way out west to sign a record deal with SBK Records in early 1990.

The band’s “ST” debut was produced by Howard Benson (1991), and soon followed magazine press, radio play and videos for “I Do You” and “If I Say”, both of which received spins on MTV.

The band also toured in The U.K. with Extreme and hit the road with stateside with Steelheart, Lynch Mob and Trixter.

Now all of th at appears to be in the past for Muriel who has now given a heartfelt message to anyone who will listen.
