Metal Sludge — In a series of recent events that are shocking and crazy for sure, the band As I Lay Dying continue to make news for all the wrong reasons.

Over the recent weeks, 4 members of the AILD band, all decided to leave the group with social media messages that were somewhat cryptic and concerning for sure.

The lone survivor of the mass exodus from AILD, is the band’s leader, singer, founder and convicted felon Tim Lambesis.

If the name Lambesis sounds somewhat familiar to our Metal Sludge audience, this is the guy who tried to hire a hitman to have his wife murdered back in 2013. But, lucky for her, the hitman he paid a $1,000.00 deposit to do the job, ended up being an under-cover Cop!

He agreed to pay a total of $20,000.00 to have her murdered, mind you, the couple had 3 (adopted) children together as well after being married since 2004.

Lambesis was subsequently arrested, charged, held on 3 million dollars bail, and eventually plead guilty and was sentenced to 6 years in prison, of which he served 3 before being paroled in December of 2016.

After his release, the singer then married for a 2nd time in April 2017 to a woman named Meegan, which ended in divorce in 2020.

Lambesis then married for a 3rd time, to a woman named Dany in 2022.

Which brings us to today, November 27th 2024, and it seems, based on recent allegations and posts, the couple are headed for a divorce after what is being perceived as a very tumultuous recent few months.

Here is a still shot from one of the videos, where you see Lambesis in the far top left confronting his wife Dany, just moments after the singer picked up and threw the table (seen tipped over) that she was sitting at when he went into a rage screaming and yelling at her, “Just love me”, as he repeatedly punches himself in the face and chest.

Lambesis seen on video (watch below), throwing over what appears to be a kitchen or patio style table as his wife Dany sits in a chair in shock… after the singer threw the table, she gets up and calls him a C-word and tried to walk away but the enraged frontman follows and confronts her eventually punching and slapping himself in the face and chest.

Lambesis is seen sitting on a bed just moments before he flies off the handle in a fit of rage, lunges at his wife Dany (pictured far right) and when she seems to argue back, the singer rages further, and again is seen punching himself in the face and chest while the wife appears to be sobbing on their bed.

After recent developments where the entire As I Lay Dying band quit on Lambesis (see related story links below on Metal Sucks) now it appears his latest wife Dany is quitting too.

Lambesis has already jumped on his IG and of course is claiming she was the abusive one, and how he’s tried to get away from her for some time, but the videos that have been leaked appear to show otherwise.
