Blabbermouth — STRYPER frontman Michael Sweet has undergone surgery for a re-detached retina. A retinal detachment happens when the retina separates from the back of the eye, causing peripheral vision loss. Without immediate treatment, a retinal detachment can lead to total vision loss, according to Healthline.
