Steel Panther formerly known as Metal Skool formerly known as Metal Shop formerly known as Danger Kitty has officially signed a record deal with Universal Music Group. This according to their official MySpace site and as reported by their official guitarist Satchel.

Body: Yes. It’s true. We signed our first Major recording contract with Universal just a few days ago. Oh well, It was huge fun while it lasted!
Soon you will be able to buy a record from your favorite band, Steel Panther, with timeless classics like Asian Hooker, Stripper Girl and a bunch of shit you haven’t heard yet, and the record company will get all the money!
But we ARE going to be totally famous! So suck our dicks now while we are still a bunch of nobodies.
