‘Cherry Pie’ Singer Gets Jail Time for DUI

The ex-front man of the band Warrant is going to jail — and all because he decided to drive drunk in Hollywood.

Jani Lane will spend two mandatory days behind bars after pleading no contest to one count of misdemeanor DUI stemming from an incident where he hit a parked car back in June.

As part of Jani’s plea deal — in which authorities agreed to drop a hit-and-run charge — Lane will serve 36 months probation, complete 3 months in alcohol education classes and report for 30 days of Caltrans road work.

Jani also has to pay more than $395 in fines — but there’s a catch. If he doesn’t wanna fork over the cash, Jani can opt to serve 13 additional days in jail instead.
