Jack Russell is now writing a reply to the recent comments made by Frankie Banali of Quiet Riot. The Frankie comments found HERE were in response to Jack’s comment telling him to “Sitck a fork in it!” about touring as Quiet Riot. That interview is right HERE. I recently did an interview with Maximum Threshold, where I gave my opinions on certain bands that do or do not have their original lead singer in them. My comments were never meant to offend anyone, and people need to understand that I believe that if a band has a different lead singer than what the fans have come to know, what the sound of the band was built on, and what is the most recognizable aspect of such band, then the band is no longer that band. It is hard to deny that a band’s sound almost always comes down to the voice of the lead singer. I am not implying that everyone doesn’t have the right to make a living. That is just my opinion, of which I am entitled.
