Stacey Blades confirms rumor that he has left L.A. Guns.

Hollywood — Metal Sludge broke news HERE over the weekend that L.A. Guns lead guitarist Stacey Blades was quitting the group after a near decade run.
Blades took over for the bands founder Tracii Guns at a point when Guns was working with Nikki Sixx and their project Brides of Destruction.
After Guns returned to form a second version with the same name – the brand endured a feud like no other. It was basically the Tracii Guns’ version of L.A. Guns, versus the Phil Lewis’ version of L.A. Guns.
The Phil Lewis version of the band put out a new platter of Andy Johns produced musc titled “Hollywood Forver” just 6 months ago. And it garned some great reviews. Now it appears there will be yet another new chapter in the bands tumultuous history.
Stacey Blades official Facebook post from earlier today reads as follows:
This isn’t an easy announcement but as of this month I will no longer be playing guitar for L.A. Guns. I dearly wish Phil, Scotty and Steve much continued success. It’s been a crazy ten year ride filled with some amazing tours, albums and memories to last a lifetime! Due to extenuating circumstances and musical differences I have decided not to continue with the band.
L.A. Guns was a dream come true but life is full of new beginnings and journeys’. I will be taking some time off and have some different things lined up that I will share with you in the near future. I would like to first and foremost thank the fans for allowing me into your hearts! You guys Rule!! Hope to see you all soon!
