Revolving door – It apepars that the street rumors have been confirmed. On August 4th Metal Sludge posted a rumor from the street HERE that Jack Russell’s Great White was replacing their utility player (guitarist/keyboardist) Matthew Johnson.
The band camp and management would not confirm this but it looks as if though that rumor has turned to fact. A source close to the guitarist claimed Johnsonwas back home in Texas and indeed no longer on the road with the band. Now a video shot August 12th from “Ding Batz” has been posted to Youtube with Jack Russell’s Great White and clearly shows someone new on rythym guitar stage left. That or some random fan jumped up on stage and began to rock out to “Face The Day” and “Lady Redlight” among other notable hits.
It also appears that 3/5 of the band stopped by Eddie Trunk‘s radio show earlier in the day.
Mystery rock guitarist joins Jack Russell’s Great White!
Jack Russell’s version of Great White is in the middle of a full blown North American tour and features the bands classic line up bassist Tony Montana and former Ron Halford’s Fight six string super shredder Robhy Lochner.
