Ex. KISS Guitarist’s House was “Hotter Than Hell” Today – Fire At Home Owned By Ace Frehley!

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – Multiple fire companies responded to a blaze that was “hotter than hell” on Saturday at a house owned by rock star Ace Frehley of KISS.

According to the Yorktown Heights Volunteer Fire Department (YHVFD) who posted information and pictures of the scene on its Facebook page, firefighters responded to a “modified barn type structure” on fire at 1347 Spring Valley Road in Yorktown Heights, a property in foreclosure owned by Frehley.

Firefighters responded at approximately 11 a.m. to a “tight road” between Grants Lane and Route 134. The building is described as a two-story wood dwelling. According to the YHVFD, departments on scene included Ossining, Croton, Somers, Katonah and Pocantico Hills as well as Yorktown Police and EMS. Bedford Hills and Mt. Kisco firefighters were relocated to cover their stations during the fire.

No injuries have been reported nor is it known if anybody was living there.

According to a foreclosure notice filed by the U.S. Bank National Association in February, Frehley, who’s real first name is Paul, stopped paying his $735,000 mortgage on March 1, 2011.

Frehley was the original guitarist for Kiss. He performed with Kiss from 1973 until leaving in 1982 to seek out a solo career. Frehley then rejoined Kiss in 1996 for a reunion tour. He remained with them until 2002 when he returned to being a solo artist.
