Here is a rare, inspiring deleted scene from Louder Education S2 E4 w/ Twisted Sister’s Jay Jay French & Testament’s Alex Skolnick. During the taping, Jay Jay French gave an exclusive autobiographical look into the history of his life, and band. Although I had to cut it from the episode, his hour long tale is the most compelling and inspiring story I have filmed in 10 years of Metal Injection history.

Jay Jay French (born John French Segall, July 20, 1952), is an American guitarist, manager and producer.French is most famous for his role as the founding member and one of the guitarists of the heavy metal band Twisted Sister. Since his first performances with Twisted Sister, French has played more than 9000 concert performances. Being an avid runner, French has also completed two New York Marathons, in 1981 and 1986. As a guitar player, manager, producer and executive producer, French has sold over 20 million albums, performed in 34 countries and performed live over 9,000 times.
