Youtube — FOREIGNER‘s Jeff Pilson sat down with rock journalist, Mitch Lafon, on Feb 7th 2014. The pair discussed Foreigner’s upcoming The Soundtrack Of Summer Tour along with STYX and DON FELDER. Jeff also delves into the three bands re-recording of the Eagles classic hit, Hotel California. The two further talked about Foreigner‘s new Europe only Double CD ‘I Want To Know What Love Is – The Ballads’ which features ‘An Acoustic Evening With Foreigner’ (a 12 song live concert recorded in July 2013 in Germany). The pair also discuss the Rock Candy Remastered releases of the Dokken classic albums: Tooth And Nail, Under Lock And Key, and Breaking The Chains as well as what the band and those albums mean to Jeff today. The interview continues with Jeff talking about producing Starships last album (Loveless Fascination – which includes the KISS cover: ‘Nothing Can Keep Me From You’), his work on the new KILL DEVIL HILL album (Revolution Rise) and his participation on the upcoming Ronnie James DIO tribute album, This Is Your Life, featuring the likes of Anthrax, Metallica, Rob Halford and The Scorpions. Jeff also mentions plans for a new T&N album with George Lynch. Finally, Jeff reveals the FOREIGNER‘s plan for an upcoming LIVE DVD recording which will feature the entire Foreigner 4 masterpiece album.
