Former Enuff Z’Nuff singer Donnie Vie releases new single “White Nigger” with guest Jaymac.

YouTube — Chicago’s homegrown hairband hero Donnie Vie is best known for his work with Enuff Z’Nuff and of course being a little controversial. Nothing has changed in 2014 except he’s started the year off solo again after quitting (for the second time) the band he fronted for nearly 30 years. In recent days Vie has released a new single called “White Nigger”.

Lyrically it’s definitely gonna turn some heads. A few samples of what you’ll hear if you choose to listen to the youtube audio clip below are as follows.  “Yeah they call me a white nigger, that’s right. The only difference from a black nigger, is that I’m white” sings the voice best known for his contributions on “New Thing” and “Fly High Michelle” both big 80s MTV hits from his former band.

The new track also features a guest co-lead vocalist (rapper) with Jaymac. His contributions will definitely turn an ear as well. “I’m a black nigger rapping, listen to the white nigger sing” and on that cue the former Enuff Z’nuff singer comes in, then Jaymac adds this; “Nigger ain’t a color, it’s a word often used. You a nigger too, you a nigger too. White, purple, black and blue – you a nigger too.”

Enuff Z’Nuff moved forward upon Vie‘s exit in May 2013 with Johnny Monaco. Ironically he was the same replacement the first time the singer/songwriter left the band  in 2002-2008. Enuff Z’Nuff with Vie did their final tour with the singer in England and following his abrupt departure, they both returned and toured England again within months of each other.
