“Somebody got into my Facebook thing here likely for the fact that I am a political poster, there’s no hiding the fact that I’ve always supported the Republican party and especially with the great Donald Trump, so somebody’s trying to stir something up here I don’t understand what it is.”
— Bobby Blotzer
Metal Sludge — Former Ratt drummer Bobby Blotzer has addressed a post that appeared on his Facebook page in the early morning hours of June 13th 2024.
Metal Sludge reported on that post from Blotzer‘s page that we shared in our article ‘WOW!!! … Bobby Blotzer posts harsh opinion on social media; “Hey, Let’s have Death to all Brown sand ##ggs!!!? How about that??”’
Our article covered the post that appeared late on the night of June 12th, or early in the morning on July 13th on the drummer’s page.
Part of the post stated “Death to all brown sand ##iggs” and the inflammatory opinion turned heads all day long.
Blotzer has now posted a new message on his Facebook page around 7:30pm (PST) on the evening of June 13th 2024 stating that he feels like someone got into his Facebook.
The original post appears to have been live on Blotzer‘s page for more than 18 hours, nearly a full day until it was eventually deleted.
The post had upwards of 100 comments, and reactions from various people, all calling into question what was meant with the harsh opinion.
Ironically, within a short time after our Metal Sludge article went live around 4:45pm (PST), Blotzer alleges he was at that point informed about our article and has refuted the original post.
Blotzer took to his Facebook page around 7:00pm (PST) on June 13th 2024 writing; “So a friend of mine sent me something that looked like I posted or I replied or something like that I can’t really understand it. But, I didn’t post that. Somebody got into my Facebook thing here likely for the fact that I am a political poster, there’s no hiding the fact that I’ve always supported the Republican party and especially with the great Donald Trump, so somebody’s trying to stir something up here I don’t understand what it is. It’s typing capitals. I don’t even know how to change for the font. I can’t even sign up on this thing. I’ve been wanting to get rid of it for a while now and I’m looking at place to change things I’ve no clue. This is the kind of shit the bozo over at metal sludge does to people between him and Jason creep. They have nothing going on their lives other than to fuck around with people so I would put it past it to be somebody like that. I’ll let this sit and then I’ll obviously dispose of the hack .”
Blotzer now seems to be active on his page with this new message and insinuates that someone had gained entry into his page.
At the same time, he’s been able to get back in, seemingly to delete the old post, and then he has uploaded and posted his latest blog.
The ex-Ratt drummer as noted in our previous article, has been polarizing for sure, and often has said things that were either as he claimed; “taken out of context” or as he has stated there was a “misunderstanding“… in short, the drummer has back-pedaled on things he has said publicly in the past.
Back in March of this year, Blotzer took some shots at his former band-mate Juan Croucier.
Readers will recall that Blotzer had posted a few blogs (comments) on social media which included him calling Croucier a “dancing Cuban bear” and mocking the Ratt bassist.
Just a day later, Blotzer seemed to take back his comments, and claimed to clarify what he said which we covered in our article; ‘BACK-PEDAL … Bobby Blotzer posts follow-up “Clarifying” his recent Juan Croucier comments‘.
Metal Sludge would like to throw out a suggestion to Blotzer, that perhaps he should get into the “anti-hacking” business to help others retrieve their hacked social media platforms and devices.
Most people that get hacked, or have someone gain entry to their pages, are usually struggling for weeks, or months at a time to get it back, and often they never get their pages back.
Blotzer was able to do so in mere minutes upon realizing someone had messed with his page.
Maybe Blotzer can help radio personality Eddie Trunk, as his Facebook has been hacked for weeks and da’ Blotz got his resolved immediately, amazing.
Kudos to you Mr. Blotzer, you are skilled beyond words and we commend you.
