The classic RATT line-up: Juan Croucier, Bobby Blotzer, Stephen Pearcy, Robbin “King” Crosby and Warren DeMartini

Metal Sludge — In a brand new post on his official Facebook, Bobby Blotzer has seemingly broke his silence on the latest in the world of Ratt,

Blotzer has recently become more active online and shared an old promo poster from 1985 when Ratt supported Scorpions and Y&T with Metallica also appearing on the bill.

The former Ratt drummer then engaged fans with the following: “You guys want a RATT OG TOUR, email Warren he’s locked in his rose garden. Juan is locked in his house somewhere but him and Stephen, whew not good. Stephen and I great and ready to friggin’ RATT N Roll.”

Blotzer spent time answering questions from fans on the thread and at some point stated the following: “I really believe and I’ve said this to the band. We owe this to them. You guys were the one who fuels the RATT tank from the get go.”

As most know Ratt has been in a state of flux for many years now and with that, the lead rodent Stephen Pearcy has been out doing solo shows.

The word is from various sources, that Pearcy is at the top of his game as of late.

Ratt last played shows with only Pearcy and Juan Croucier (bass) from the original line-up.

The last official Ratt lineup also included Pete Holmes on drums (Black N’ Blue) along with Jordan Ziff (Razor) on lead guitars and for a period Chris Sanders (Britny Fox) played rhythm guitar.

Blotzer did make an appearance during a special online event with Pearcy during Covid, that was held at the “Whisky-A-Go-Go” on the Sunset Strip back in February of 2021.

Metal Sludge was first to report that it was rumored Blotzer would appear and perform with his former band-mate in our article… ‘RATT REUNION … Stephen Pearcy schedules “Whisky-A-Go-Go” stream event (TBA), rumors are that Bobby Blotzer will play drums‘ which in fact turned out to be true.

One can only think that if Guns N’ Roses, Motley Crue and Poison, along with so many others can somehow right their ship to go out and play shows, that Ratt could do the same at some point.

Only time will tell….
