SHOUT IT OUT … Shameless set to release 8th studio album “So Good, You Should…” and introduce female vocalist Charlotte Tybalt

Metal Sludge — From Munich Germany the band Shameless are ready to release their 8th studio album “So Good, You Should…” on May 20th 2022 through Pride & Joy Records.

The band was first formed in 1989 by bassist Alexx Michael but didn’t release music until a decade later with their 1999 debut “Backstreet Anthems” on Red Skunk Recordz.

Over the next 20 plus years the band released 7 studio records, 1 live record and also put out a greatest hits release.

Now in 2022, they are back with their latest, a record of (mostly) cover songs with 2 new original tracks too boot.

The lineup continues to feature lead guitarist Boris “BC” Sleaze who has been part of the core duo with Michael in Shameless for the duration, along with one of the group’s longtime vocalists Stevie Rachelle (Tuff).

Drummer Tod ‘T’ Burr has also returned to the fold along with Frankie Muriel (KingOfTheHill) who appeared previously as a special guest lead vocalist on the band’s 7th studio effort “The Filthy 7“ on RSR Music in 2017.

Michael has also brought in a few new members, including guitar wizard Dennis Post from Copenhagen Denmark and female vocalist Charlotte Tybalt (Blue Ruin) from Auckland New Zealand.

If that’s not enough to get you excited, well fear not, because Jaret Reddick (Bowling For Soup) also makes an appearance singing lead on “East Bound And Down.”

The first single and video is “Shout It Out” and debuts today (Feb. 4th 2022) which features Tybalt singing lead along with Michael (Bass), BC and Post (Guitars) and Burr (Drums).

“Due to the global pandemic making in-person studio recordings was nearly impossible” says Michael, so Shameless recorded their newest record at a dozen different locations all over the world.

The band’s various members recorded in Munich Germany, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, St. Louis, Copenhagen Denmark and Auckland New Zealand.

Look for additional singles from Shameless throughout 2022 that will feature the different vocalists from the release singing some of your favorite classics, covered only the way Shameless could cover them.
