Vains of Jenna to issue new single/video from LP?

Swedish rockers Vains of Jenna will issue a new disc on April 5th thru Deadline E1 Music. The official CD release is 15 tracks deep, but there is also a special edition 12″ vinyl LP as well. Band founder & bassist J.P White says: “I never thought there would be a day where I’d be holding an actual Vains of Jenna album, but it’s true.”
The group will issue it’s first single from “Reverse Tripped” on March 11th with their own rock version of “Fuck You“. The Cee Lo Green cover was produced by Adam Hamilton (Vanilla Ice, Leif Garret) and is already buzzing since it leaked in recent weeks. “We’ve had an amazing reaction from fans and industry contacts alike, can’t wait to see where it leads us.” adds Nicki Kin, the groups guitarist.
The orginal version has charted in 2 dozen countries and the official video was directed by Blake Bogdanovich. The bands frontman Jesse Forte is excited as well; “Reverse Tripped is the name of the release, but wait til you see the video for “Fuck You“. Blake did an awesome job.”
Vains of Jenna is set to hit the road in May & June in the US. Select dates with be in support of a good friend in Guns n’ Roses original drummer Steven Adler (Adler’s Appetite). Adler & Jacki Stone (Vains of Jenna drummer) also share a common endorement with Rocket Drum Works.
