ONCE BITTEN TWICE SUED
Jack Russell the original voice of Great White is being sued again, this time by a former manager
Los Angeles — Jack Russell a founding member, and the classic voice of Great White has been sued by a former manager.
Russell, 54 has been in these shoes before. The rock singer has seen his fair share of legal troubles and law suits in past years.
The current lawsuit has the rocker on the receiving end of a lawsuit from his former management company, Dreams Carry On Entertainment and personal manager Valerie Ince.
According to the public records, the lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles superior court on December 16th 2014.
Ince is claiming she is owed over $ 30,000.00 from Russell. The lawsuit goes on to list a personal loan given to Russell from Ince, along with substantial credit card debt. Ince alleges she used her credit line to finance Jack Russell’s Great White travel expenses and buy merchandise items used for resale at live shows that Russell appeared at. In addition, Ince and her company – Dreams Carry On Entertainment are seeking unpaid commissions from (Jack Russell) live performances and their related merchandise sales.
Note that the aforementioned lawsuit is not suing any other members of Jack Russell’s Great White, just Russell himself.
Great White the band were at the center of a national tragedy when a night club burned to the ground on the eve of one of their rock concerts. On February 20th 2003 the “Station Night Club” fire in West Warwick Rhode Island claimed 100 lives, including the band’s guitarisr Ty Longley.
During this phase of the band Great White, there was only 1 version and this tragic event featured both key founding members, Jack Russell (vocals) and Mark Kendall (guitars). The two now perform in different versions of the band. Kendall in Great White, and Russell fronts the band known as Jack Russell’s Great White.
