Love/Hate in happier times, or hippier times?
Jon E Love threatens to sue Jizzy Pearl over new Love/Hate record that the former guitarist calls “his solo shit”
Hollywood CA — Batter up! One after another they all want to take a swing. A swing at what?
It’s not what, it’s who.
It seems all musicians at one point in their career want to take a swing at former band mates with the threat of a lawsuit. We’ve heard and seen this before with Van Halen, L.A. Guns, Ratt, Motley Crue, Pretty Boy Floyd and the list goes on.
Next up is Love/Hate. Or so it appears after seeing a recent post by former guitarist Jon E Love.
But how real is the threat? Who can tell and only time will tell. Most of these ‘lawsuit’ threats from rockers usually fall by the way side with their other baggage filled past. And we don’t particularly claim any specific rocker has to having baggage – but the general claim is many do. And they usually have more baggage than cash in hand to pay legal fees.
In recent years Jizzy Pearl the bands voice has forged on with a variation of line ups touring the UK and parts of the states. And rarely do these shows include any of the original members. Why? Well according to one insider not everyone wants to be in Love/Hate and not everyone from the original band can even board a plane or travel outside the US. This seems to be the case with Jon E Love who our insider claims does not have a valid passport. So touring the UK, other parts of Europe or anywhere outside the US border won’t happen anytime soon for the bands original guitarist.

So now that Jizzy Pearl is about to head to the UK again, and recently announced that ‘new’ Love/Hate record for 2014 – it looks to have set Love off. So much so, he’s threatened to sue Jizzy. And how do you threaten to sue someone in 2013? On Facebook, where else.
