SOCIAL MEDIA — Bobbie Brown took to social media today writing about one of the lowest points of her life when she was abusing hard drugs and partying.
Brown shared a photo of her from New Year’s Eve 1994 recalling that night, and how her life seemed to be in a downward spiral, but little did she know there just may have been an Angel looking over her.
“This was at one if the lowest times in my life“, wrote Brown.
“My fiance’ and I broke up and within 5 days was married to someone else , It was New Year’s eve and I was addicted to Meth weighing 90 pounds”, stated Brown in a blog sharing a photo from 30 years earlier.
She adds: “This was taken inside a night club after the countdown…..Do you see the angel praying over me!?” referring to a smokey or cloud-like image appearing on the photo.
“Someone else had to point it out to me back then…. But when I look at it now, It’s so clear! How crazy is this? crazy cool …This is NOT photoshopped!” added Brown.
The Fiancé she is referencing is Tommy Lee whom she was in a relationship with for 5 months before getting engaged in July of 1994, but soon after their relationship ended, saw the Mötley Crüe drummer marry Baywatch star Pamela Anderson in early 1995.
Back in March of 2023 the 13-time Star Search Spokes-model, and 80’s Video Vixen talked about finding God and what she calls an 8-hour divine intervention that changed her life.
Brown opened up about that encounter on the Bay Ragni podcast (as transcribed by Metal Sludge): “Everyone says that I sound like I am crazy but I’ve never been more lucid. I am completely sober, off of every single drug, alcohol, for ah, a year now. Everything.”
Brown continued: “Um, every single addiction gone. Every single worry, gone. Like, I don’t… have anxiety, I don’t have, like every single thing that I was on medication for, or, you know, had addictions for years about, like, depression, trauma, all of it… literally went away, when I surrendered. I just said, I can’t do this anymore, I can’t do this anymore, but I wanna live.”
Brown says her divine encounter happened back in July of 2022.
Brown has detailed much of her struggles with substance abuse and random affairs with rock-stars in her book; ‘Dirty Rocker Boys‘ (2013) where she admitted that she was a cocaine and methamphetamine addict for a decade.
A follow-up book; ‘Cherry on Top: Flirty, Forty-Something, and Funny as F**k‘ was released in 2019.
